when we found out we was expecting identical twin boys we were so excited and could not wait we got told of the vanishing twin syndrome but we had 2 weeks scans to make sure you was both still there and you was we had to have so many scans i lost count we got over the 12 weeks mark hurray we was so excited my bump began to grow quick i could u both wriggle when ruby talked to you we got an appointment through to b scanned to check for TTTS but it got cancelled we had to wait a further 2 weeks before we was offered another we went to the scan inhope that everythink was ok i was just over 18 weeks when we found out you had TTTS before we got told u had this we got told you was baby boys wow we was really excited but that excitment turned to fear when they told us that you had TTTS and that we would have to go down to Bristol fetal medicine unit to be seen by a specialist when we got there the staff were very nice there and understanding we had another scan by Dr mark denbow who told us that yes you did have TTTS at a stage 3b and laser ablation was likley we made so many trips up to see him to check on you both you seemed to be doin so well always showing of cameron and little carter mummy could not se you because you had no fluid around you as you was so poorly 2 weeks later and countless scans it was time to do the surgery mummy had to have some special drugs to keep her calm and a great big needle in her tummy to numb the spot where the laser would enter that really hurt the laser and the camera was put in mummys tummy i could feel everythink i could the burning from the laser and cameron wriggling mummy and daddy saw u on camera wow how perfect you was showing of again this time you kept putting your foot in the way if the camera made me giggle the doctor then drained 500ml of fluid from camerons sac in hope carter would regain some fluid mummy was took on a ward to rest then was sent home the longest weekend of my life we had hope that it worked i felt u both moving wow it was like you was playing with each other on monday 6th july you had slowed down i thought maybe it was because mummy was worrying to much we drove down to bristol on the 7th july 09 and started the scan the word echoed in my ears im so sorry they never made it you left me to be angels you was just over 20 weeks me and daddy cryed so hard that day it took daddy a while before he could even think of driving home again that night was a blur the next day we had to go to our local hosptial and have a special tablet to induce mummy to go into labour i was sent home i had to carry you both as angels for nearly 4 days on the 10th july 09 at 21 weeks after a easy labour and delievery Cameron leon royston was born first weighing 210g and Carter alex royston was born 23 minutes later weighing 150g daddy held you for a while then mommy got to hold the you our hearts will never be the same again they are shattered beyond belief your funeral was the hardest to have to say goodbye for the last time daddy put your tiny casket in the ground we kissed it to say goodbye we stood there in the heavy rain cying so hard no one would notice due to the rain we didnt want to leave you there this time has shown mummy & daddy who there real friends are and they thank each and everyone of them for the support prays and well wishes not a day goes by that i dont think of you both
we had your results back and states that the surgery worked the TTTS disapeared it was the stress that killed you my babys im sorry i did everythink i could forever in my hearts
you came into this world together and left together

2nd christmas without you.
Two little angels flying high ! nanny hopes you both had a wonderful christmas day, two christmas have passed and it only seems like yesterday we think of you all the time, and we had been thinking today what our day would of been like if you both were here we imagined you both toddling everywhere playing with your trains and all the messy paper we would have to pick up we would give anything for that moment to pick up all the christmas paper. But we love you always and think of you both always nanny sends big hugs and kisses for christmas day ! love you always our sweet little boys x x x god bless sweet dreams and sleep tight x x x
hello my princes i hope your being good boys and not running riot :) i know how excitedd you must feel with xmas being so close look after ollie for me he will be sharing your bed this week so please keep him warm and make sure he drinks his angel milk make him big and strong like you ruby is doing really well she has asking for twins baby dolls for xmas like you so nanny has got her a girl one and a boy one :) as she already has your reborn dollies she misses you to she making you a special picture later just for you :) i know your always around her i can see that twinklein her eye and i know its you 2 :) i hope your proud of mummy daddy and ruby dor donating xmas presents to those poorly children in the cancer unit my heart goes out to them i am sure you all were leading us to that decision ruby has sorted her old toys out for the hospital to where she was really poorly :) i love all my kids as i know you are all so thoughtful and kind i miss u all so much all my love forever mummy xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
